Got me into candles!!!

I was not a candle person, I live in a place where I'm really only able to light candles in one room so usually they kinda just gather dust. I saw this and was so excited. This company is really great at giving equal amazing treatment too all the characters that they make sscents for, even my boy Ryuji who rarely ever gets any fan products. Scent wise? Divine, I'm using a candle warmer in order to have it in my room and it fills up my room plus the entire hallway, at least a thousand square feet of amazing smells, to the point where my roommates want some despite being not as into fandom as I am. Art wise, amazing branding, if you're someone that wants to be settled the 4 oz are a great option, and the 8 oz are great if you want to showcase the adorable chibis! Super fast shipping, and great, safe packaging!

Not too sweet- well balanced candle!

Upon initial sniff, I was worried that the Pina colada scent was going to be really overpowering, as it came through really strongly before lighting it up. That was certainly not the case though! After it was lit, the scents blended quite wonderfully to create a smooth, beachy scentscape. Ryuji will always be my favorite Phantom Thief too, and the quote title chosen for this candle is absolutely golden.

love it!

bought this to replace an old candle from a official persona 5 collab candle that i couldn't repurchase because the company went defunct and i was really happy with this one. it filled the hole in my ryuji shaped heart. big fan of how it smells, the piña colada in it is a super nice touch

Great scent

This candle has a great scent, last for a while, and is overall very much worth the price. The scent does drift away slightly but not enough to be an issue.

Tropical with a Pirates Flair

This scent ended up being much more fruit forward than I thought it would be. I was expecting a more ocean centric scent, but I was p[eased to be wrong. The pina colada comes through very well, and the driftwood and rum help give the feeling of being near a beach. Savory, and well worth the try.

Candle care for tins and glass jars:

Please heed all safety instructions on the warning label at the bottom of the candle tin.
Allow the candle to burn at least 3 hours on its initial use for it to reach its full melt pool, but try to not surpass 4 hours to prevent soot build-up on the wick.
The wick will be pre-trimmed when you receive it, but be sure to trim it before each subsequent burn. This keeps the flame from getting too large, which will burn through your candle at a faster pace. The ideal height for cottons wicks is 1/4 in and for wooden wicks 1/8 - 3/16 in. We sell wick trimmers in our shop, and you can also use your fingers :)
Some candle scents are stronger than others. If the scent is not as strong as you would like, try burning in a smaller room.
Do not be alarmed if you see any frosting (crystallization or chalky white edges) or post-burn bumpiness on your candle. This is just an attribute of 100% natural soy wax.

Prepping your container for re-use

Finished with your candle? You can clean your container to either toss it in the recycling bin or reuse it as a storage container!

To clean your candle tin or glass jar:

Remove the leftover wax, wick, and wick sticker from the container (a plastic knife works well for this).
Sit the container on some hot water or blow with a hair dryer to melt the remaining wax. Do not pour water inside the container, because you do not want to pour wax down the drain
Use a paper towel to wipe the melted wax. Then wash with soap and warm water, or wipe with alcohol
We do not recommend storing edible items in these containers, as traces of wax and fragrance oil could remain

Wooden wick troubleshooting:

Wooden wicks give a touch of sophistication to your candle but they can be quite finicky! Here are some notes if you are having trouble getting your wooden wick to light.

When you initially light your wick, give it some time to stabilize. The flame will dance around a little and may appear on the verge of extinguishing, but more often than not it will revive itself without interference and keep its flame.
If the flame does go out completely, trim the charred bits so that the top is even and try lighting it again.
Be sure to always trim the top before relighting (you can use a wick trimmer or pinch it off with your fingers) so that there are no uneven edges. The ideal height for wooden wicks is 1/8-3/16". If it is too long, the flame will not be able to soak up the wax and it will go out.
It can be helpful to hold your jar sideways when you light it so that the flame of your lighter will envelop the whole wick.
If you ever feel like your wick has been trimmed too short, you can take some steps to correct this. If the wax is still melted, you can stick a piece of paper towel in it to soak up some of the wax. If the wax is solid, you can scoop out some of the wax and re-melt the wax evenly with a hair dryer, so that more of the wick becomes exposed. Only take these steps when the candle is unlit.
